Assist kiddos in creating their own wooden boats! Requires patience, calm direction, and the ability to withstand the noise of hammers pounding wood for the entire shift :) A super fun and lively place to volunteer. A simple background check will be run on all volunteers that work with kids at no cost to you. We will handle the process. Skill using hand tools (hammers and drills) is helpful but not necessary. Circulate to help with the building process when needed, keep materials restocked and organized, and clean off work areas.You should be good at working with kids, encouraging and guiding them.
